      Moving Sky Box

      Hi

I hope someone can help. I want to move my sky box from side of the room to the other but the two input cables are too short. Can I buy some extension cables or do I need to get sky out?

I've looked at some of the other threads for info but couldn't find anything but sorry if this is an FAQ!

      Thanks

      Re: Moving Sky Box

If you are capable you should be able to make up your own extension cable by purchasing the cable from a diy store.

Look for satellite coaxial cable and f type sockets. you will also need a male/male connector.

Yes, extend both cables. You will need 2 of these:

Maplin > Aerial Connectors*-*F Connector Socket to Socket Coupler

      and 4 'F' connectors.

      Re: Moving Sky Box

I picked up two 10m extension cables + a pair of connector gender benders and more cable clips than I could ever need for about 15 in B&Q.
