      Sky Dilemma/Query

      Hello people

      I've had a problem with my sky picture quality for quite some time now. I rang up sky and they wanted to charge me 60-65 for an engineer to come round. For 159.00 i could upgrade to Sky+ and get the engineer to sort out the signal quality then.

      I was wondering however - because I pay for sky and the account is therefore in my name, I could cancel my subscribtion and then get my dad to call up as new customer and create a new subscription with the sky + (at same address though).

      Is this possible???

      At the moment the Sky broadband package is linked to your TV service, you would have to cancel the whole lot and start again. If you want the hassle of doing this instead of paying 65 then its obvioulsy your call , but yes it could be done

      At the moment we dont have broadband with them.

      Was asking because i know sky can be funny with things like this

      you must have the tv for 12 months though
