sky code for samsung tv?

just bought a new tv would like to use their remote rather than sky-theres a list of codes for dvds sky etc but none work with my tv remote anynoe got some codes

Have you been on Samsung's website, perhaps they have the code you need. Failing that try doing some searching on Google/Yahoo etc..

My Samsung manual (same TV) gave codes that worked OK with my Sky+ box. Only simple functions though - on/off and volume. In fact my Samsung DVD/HDD box has a remote that will do the same. I don't think you will get full functionality unless you use the Sky remote for Sky.

I used 0646 for my Samsung 37` LCD-- and using Sky Remote, you can adjust Volume ,Channells. If you use press Tv and keep pressing `Help` it scans thro your Tv Functions ie VCR/ STB/DVD/HD.Lastly if you are recording 2 channells on Sky at the same time and you want to continue viewing, press TV & Backup and watch Terrestrial TV-- only of course, if you have Aerial plugged in Sky Box.
As Freeview comes installed in TV it hasn`t got as good picture as Terrestrial TV

im using the sky remote now shame i cant use the other one but oh well

unfortunately i dont have an aerial linked to my tv so its just sky for me

edit-while im here wot connection do you recommend for sky for this tv? im using scart cables but the sound seems a bit fuzzy

I have just received an LE40 and could not get any code to work. I found your post and tried the code and I now have volume etc working on the Sky+ remote.

sky maunal page 35 or sky+ manual page 56 give you all the codes and how to install them but the code for samsung is 0060 any problems just send me a pm
