Problems activating Setanta

We signed up last night for Setanta Sports but it has not been activated yet, Setanta have sent 4 activation codes but no luck, I rang Sky and we did a system health check and a reset of the LMB, they say all is ok at their end and we have all the other channels and no reception problems.
Setanta say we probably need to get an engineer out but Sky say nothing is wrong so there is no need for anyone to come out.
Has anyone had similar problems or has any ideas, Setanta have sent the last code an hour ago and say they cannot send another till Sky have sorted things out

as long as you can pick up the channel (albeit with the on-screen message that you need to subscribe), then I don't see what an engineer is going to do to fix the problem.

At a guess I would suggest that Setanta have made an error with your viewing card number and are sending the signal to the wrong viewing card.

I had them read back all the details, they got the card number correct, we have multi-room and it's the second box we want it on but they have not activated the other one by mistake.
I am at a loss to know what is going on here

I think you need to get them to put it on the main card so that the multiroom card mirrors it.

Yes we only want it on the bedroom digibox, I know from others that it is possible so once again I am at a loss

Well you could get it activated on the main card and then ring sky and pair the main card with the box upstairs and the vice versa.

You shouldnt have to do this, so its just a suggestion if you are desperate to get it activated.

Despite reading the card number everytime I called them they were sending the code to a totally different card. Twice they confirmed the number but the computer had a totally different one this morning, all sorted now.
