Re: Sky magic eye coax problem?
Have you tried tuning it in without the magic eye connected.
Is it a complete run of coax from the RF2 out, no joins or faceplates?

Re: Sky magic eye coax problem?
Yes it was a complete run from the box to the eye. It was the cable from the eye to the TV that was the problem. All up and running now.
Thanks a lot for the help and suggestions :-)

Re: Sky magic eye coax problem?
This is beginning to bug me!! All worked OK until last week when I changed my bedroom TV. It's got Freeview and that all works fine. When I switch to the Sky channel I get a a very distorted picture and I cannot change channels via Magic Eye. I've connected the eye to Sky HD+ box with a short 1 meter cable and all works OK. When I connect to the longer cable going upstairs nothing happens. I tried a new cable and replaced the connectors at both ends to no avail.

Re: Sky magic eye coax problem?
I've sorted it!!!! Now I hope this makes sense! To connect the Sky+ box to the cable going upstairs I had to use a coupler. I've now used a short co-ax cable with integrated ends and then used the coupler to connect this to the long cable. All OK!!
