Common TV Codes for your Sky Remote

Forgetting changing channels, adjusting volume or anything else like that. Can you:

1. switch your Sky box to standby by pressing the Sky button followed by the standby button (top right)?
2. switch your TV to standby by pressing the TV button followed by the standby button?

Hi I can not get my sky+ remote version 8 handset to turn on my Blaupunkt 122N LED TV. Does anyone know the code (I have tried the 4 digit and 3 digit codes in the sky interactive list and searched google but none work? thanks

Try this: Sky Remote Codes Blaupunkt. Note the requirement to press the TV button immediately before entering the numerical code.

If that doesn't work and the TV is a recent model it may require a version 9 remote to control it.

Hannspree SE40LMNB I have a version 9 remote, but have tried many codes, non seem to work. Can anyone help please.. Brian

This code finder Sky.com - Find your remote control code does recognise your TV but gives the message about the code not being available for the rev9 remote.
That does happen with some newer TV's.

It suggests trying 1379 or 1376.

Although Sky.com's remote code finder does recognise the brand Digihome it was unable to suggest a code that worked for model number TVC26884HDDVD with a rev. 9 remote.
I eventually found a working code 1584. The clue was in the remote, a Toshiba RC-1910 so I used the Toshiba brand code.

Blaupunkt tvs do seem to have difficulty, seems youview cant cope well with them either.

Ive tried all the codes i think. the instructions for 3 or 4 digit codes dont seem to work unless im missing something. Maybe its just this oddball blaupunkt tv. Wish i bought a samsung now!
