This post is a bit old but the OP should try this first before splashing out

1)Press the TV button.
2)Press and hold Select and the i button together until the LED flashes twice.
3)Press the number 1 and then press Select.

It may work, but it may depend on the remote version. To return to HD press the number 2 button in stage (3).

Curry's own make used to be Matsui. Using this brand you could try 1191, 0471 or 1065

Three figure codes may require a leading zero with newer remote controls.

I have a LG 32LM620T, my remote is a sky+ version 4.

I have tried every code I can find but none work. Is the control too old to match with a new smart tv?

I would say your remote is too old. Most up to date TVs will require Rev 9.

Just bought a Qantec 55" TV Model 55QB8B4XXU checked the internet and Qantec is a new company formed last year by techvision but nothing else regarding tv codes.
