Yeah, i've tried all the codes on this site and others too. Have even resorted to random numbers in the hope of finding it. But still no luck after nearly a week of trying.

It seems that the TV i bought hasn't yet been given a Sky code, so i'll have to wait until it's cracked.

Hi All,

Can anyone help me with a Proline LVD1983WD? I have tried all of the codes that Sky suggest, plus a couple more that I have found online. The remote is a Sky HD Remote Rev 8.0

I have tried 0065, 0653, 0649, 0662, 0100, 1065, 0349, 0540, 0040, 0592, 0584

The instructions for programming the remote:

Press tv
Press Select & red together ( LED blinks twice )
Press tv again
Enter code ( LED blinks twice if code recognised )
Press OFF button. Tv should switch off.
If it does, press Select to store.

I have been on to Sky about incorrect programming instructions on battery covers on their remotes and also their webpage. No wonder a lot of people cannot get their remotes set up correctly.

Unfortunately, many tv/DVD combo's are not programmable, and yours may be one.

I wonder if someone can help me as I have been going through loads of numbers off different websites/links to try and get my remote to work!

My tv is FERGUSON F2202LVD

The sky remote is sky+ and is REV8 if that helps

I can't get my remote to work the volume either whatever code I try, and try ... and try! I've tried the blink back method - didn't work. I've tried a load of 4 digit AND 3 digit codes, but nothing!!

I thought I had done it a few times - because the led blinked twice after a few codes ... but ... Arghh!

I would be grateful if someone could help.
