Terms and conditions

Hi guys I'm currently with sky but thinking about taking up sky+ and multi room, but my box is in a sorry state and was wondering would sky say no if I canceled my subscription and the other half signed up the next day so we got the the extra box free or would they get funny because its still the same name on the bill.
