Re: Sky Sub Price Rise?
Just phoned them up. Becuase my offer ends on the 23rd September they add on the remainder of the full package price for the month making the random £31.
She also said if you have the entertainment mix only there is no increase. So whe I remove movies in september it will go back to being £26 a month. Not sure if that is true.

Re: Sky Sub Price Rise?
I dont think they will increase the broadband?
Not for a while anyways.
They just managed to get this one out and use the excuse that they have developed and worked on loads of HD programming ect.
But they cant say that with Broadband and then they will just be like any other ISP if they go into the realms of ~£25.

Re: Sky Sub Price Rise?
i am on 2 mix at present and pay £15 pcm. Does the price increase take effect from the 1st November or is it the 1st Sept 07? I read that those who already subscribe to 2 mix will not get a price increase until 1st Nov 07?
Is this correct?
Where can I find a list of all the price increases on the Internet?

Re: Sky Sub Price Rise?
there's a staff briefing about those on connect offers receiving letters incorrectly, apparently a letter will be sent shortly to clarify the situation, but the offer will continue

Re: Sky Sub Price Rise?
I finally got my magazine and letter today.
Only been with them 3 months. Someone told me that they can't increase the price in the first 12 months but I cannot find anything about this.
Anyone know?

Re: Sky Sub Price Rise?
From Sky's T&C re: subscription
Will the price of my subscription(s) rise during the Minimum Term?
Under the Sky digital Subscription Contract we can increase the prices for the Stand-alone Premium Channels at any time during the Minimum Term. However, in all other cases we can only increase the relevant Subscription Payment once during the Minimum Term. This increase won't affect you during the first 60 days of your subscription to your chosen service(s) and will not be more than either 10% of your subscription or the increase in the UK Retail Price Index over the last 12 months before we tell you about that price increase, whichever is greater. Under the Sky digital Subscription Contract, if at any time you change your chosen Option, you will pay the then current price for your new Option from the day you first receive it. The limits on price increases do not apply after the Minimum Term of the relevant contract. Source: http://mysky.sky.com/portal/site/sky...tte.cachetoken------
