Sky Basic up by £2 to £17 a month. That's an increase of 13%
. 1 pack to cost £16. I'm looking forward to the BBC/ITV freesat that is coming out as I think that after being a customer of theirs since the analogue days I'll be binning Sky.

Re: Sky Sub Price Rise?
Got my letter today in with the magazine, this letter is addressed to me with my account number on it and they have increased by TV package by £1.50 but are planning to charge me £17 per month for Broadband where I have only ever paid £5 per month. They will be getting a phone call tomorrow. There is no way they are increasing my broadband to £17 especially when my exchange was LLU'ed some time ago.

Re: Sky Sub Price Rise?
It might be the case that they are not taking into account that you are on the £5 price for the Connect package. When I moved to Sky for my Broadband last October the very first letter I got explaing my first bill for both the tv and broadband stuff showed the price I would be paying but added that it was before any discounts I might be on and at the time I was (and still are) on a reduced price for the full television package but it was no taken into account.
Lets us know what they say when you call them.

We got our magazine yesterday, no covering letter explaining the new charges whatsoever.
