If you ring up to cancel, be prepared to cancel.

If they call your bluff and let you cancel, they would normally write to you offering a sweetener, or you can just ring up anytime within the 30 days to reinstate.

      He who blinks first, loses.

PS - I hope nothing goes wrong though.

Therefore, if they do cancel me, will i definately get a cancel letter with offers?
Worse case scenario is they say "ok we cancel you" and i hear nothing!!
Then i suppose i call and beg to come back

You will definitely get a letter, whether or not it has an offer in, remains to be seen.

It's a game of call my bluff, they may want you to stay and offer the world, or they may let you go. Thats why I said you have to be sure that you can bluff better then them. If you have no intention of making the call to cancel, then it is pointless wasting yours and their time.

You can always uncancel, but if it were me, then I wouldn't leave it to last minute, as you have phone and broadband. The fact you have both them, makes it look to me, more likely they will offer you something to stay.
