Re: Sky Go: Software update, more content, features & free Sky Go Extra for multiroom customers
It seems like it will be free if you have multi room and £5 if you don't.
Sky Go Extra: Sky TV customers only. No extra cost with Sky Multiroom, otherwise £5 extra a month. 31 days’ notice to cancel. Register up to 4 Sky Go devices, concurrent viewing on two devices. Download selected Sky Go content via WiFi (Unavailable on Xbox 360). Content depends on your Sky TV package. Movies/Sports Pack(s) required to download movies/sports. Max 2 downloads per programme. Content deleted from device 48 hours after viewing starts or no later than 7 or 30 days after download depending on content.

Re: Sky Go: Software update, more content, features & free Sky Go Extra for multiroom customers
The small print on that page (under the Sky TV dropdown) already states:
"Sky Go Extra: Sky TV customers only. Content deleted from device 48 hours after viewing starts or no later than 7 or 30 days after download depending on content."
And the small print under the Offers dropdown states:
"Sky Go Extra 2 months free trial: Sky Go Extra available free for 2 months for new and existing Sky TV customers. After 2 months you will continue to receive Sky Go Extra at £5pm extra unless you call us to cancel at least 31 days before the end of the 2 month period. Offer ends 26 September 2013. Not available in conjunction with any other offer."
So I reckon if you're a multiroom subscriber who wants Sky Go Extra and you've not already had the free 2 month trial and you're not already subscribed to it, I guess you could order it immediately without risk of incurring any charge for a few days use until it becomes free of charge (otherwise probably best wait until 3 July).++ speedyrite ... powered by NOW Broadband from June 2018 ++

You would think that with Sky Entertainment Extra, Sky Movies, Sky Sports, and Fibre broadband they would supply me with Sky Go Extra for no extra cost!

Re: Sky Go: Software update, more content, features & free Sky Go Extra for multiroom customers
Well I've added it. Refused to pay £5 for it after having it for free on the PC originally before they changed it. Will have Sky Go Extra on the PC and mobile. I'm very happy!
