Help staying connected

Every morning when I boot my pc it stays connected for about 17 mins then drops,I have to unplug it to reconnect.
Could I have the set up wrong?
Some times in my status bar it shows 2 tellies some times 3?
Never had this with my previous linksys.
Do I need to do somthing with the bridge?

Have a look at the advice given by DingDong. My connection was absolutely rubbish (dropping connection regularly, falling speed). After following the advice I now have a stable reliable connection. Only addition I would make to the advice is that you need to be doing a soft reboot every evening for at least ten days after connection and also it seems to work better if you leave the router on 24 hours/day. (OK to switch everything else off)

That's a classic symptom for the Sky router UPnP bug which affects some customers.

The fix is simple:

• log into your router
• choose UPnP from the menu
• untick "turn UPnP on", click apply
• reboot PC
• reboot router
