      hey d3fiant ..

i was browsing the forums for wds help and came across your thread !

I would like to know how you set up WDS on the router sky provide too !

I have a USR 9106 that has WDS... (its adsl 1) but flashed to 12mbps so should be ok for sky max use. I probably wont see 16 mbps.. more like 12/13 mbps anyhow...

But as mentioned would appreciate any help in setting up WDS on sky netgear product... the USR is simply to cater for my cat5 wired network and if poss to boost wireless range (if that even works in WDS) if not i'll happily connect wirelessly to sky router ..

      hope that made sense !

      cheers

Re: Is the Sky Router WDS compatible?

This is quite an old thread now. Since then the popularity of pairing an old router to the Sky router has increased, particularly with the introduction of Anytime+.

Please take a look at this thread:

      http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/askin...-together.html

Whilst the guide is for one particular method, there are links on the first page to two other similar threads with instructions for other types of routers.

Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
