Ok thanks for the replies. Is it not weird though that my 9 month old sky router has a newer firmware than my 1 week old sky router?

Not really. All the time your 'old' router has been on line getting updates, your 'new' one has been lying in storage

Interesting - I wondered how one could receive two Sky connections at one address.
Are you using them as two seperate connections?

      Re: Change router firmware

I've actually got three lines, but I've giving notice to disconnect the one in the garage as I don't use it. They're in different names. One line is the original line inherited from BT, the other two are Sky (openreach) installed new lines.
