      New router from sky = dead Internet.

      Sky sent me a new 102 as I have been having unexplained connection problems.

      I replaced the old one inc the cable and filter and now I have a solid Amber smiley face.

      I've been through the check list and even tried 'turning it off and back on again' still nothing.

      Have I broken the whole tinterweb? If so this threads going to be a bit quiet.

      most likely the mac address of router is being blocked ie router is refurbished or mac address new not on system call sky to check

      have you checked that the security code of the router is the same as what your computer is set to? You should have had a card with your 102 telling you what the code is. Try it with an ethernet cable first if you can to make sure that the router is actually connecting to the web.

      All working now, it connected during the night.
