Adding a second Sky router to extend coverage

I need to extend the coverage from my Sky router to give a better wireless signal at the back of the house. I have run a Cat6 cable from the existing router to the back room, and have connected this to a spare Sky router. Now I need to configure the second router, but I can't find a way of finding it's IP address, and connecting to it wirelessly from my laptop.

Can anyone advise where I should go from here?

      Thanks

Re: Adding a second Sky router to extend coverage

By default it'll have the same IP as the main router so you'll have a conflict.

You need to connect it to a PC/Laptop when the other router is off and disable DHCP and set its IP to something like 192.168.0.2.

In your main router, set its DHCP range to start from 192.168.0.3.
