      Apple TV & the Sky hub

      Hi,

      Has anyone had any problems trying to connect their Apple TV via their Sky Hub? I have tried connecting it via wifi which worked fine but I canít get past the screen asking for it to set the date and time.

      I have read that it could be because the router is blocking port 123 but I tried turning the firewall off just to test it and that didnít work either. Please can anyone help? Thanks.

      I saw someone else having this issue. To get past the date/time screen on install they had to connect their Apple TV to their mobile acting as a hotspot. Once the install was complete they then connected the TV to their Sky router and all then worked okay.

      Thank you for replying. I tried that earlier but I only have one bar of signal so I'm not sure if my connection is too weak for it to work. I will try it again when I get a better signal. If that doesn't work I will try connecting it at someone else's house. I think the box could be faulty though! I had no idea it would be this difficult to set up.
