Router Recovery Tool with SR102 doesn't work

I'm trying to rollback the firmware on my SR102 which I understand is only possible using the Router Recovery Tool, but I just can't get it to work with the SR102. I put the router in recovery mode (press wps and reset together for 2+ seconds), and the power light flashes amber. I open the Router Recovery Tool, go through the steps, then when it asks to me to reset my router using the button on the back I do this, but the router just resets and reboots back to normal operation, with all lights coming on white as per norm.. According to the tool the power light should flash amber still after the reset, which doesn't happen.

      Does anyone have any suggestions?

Have you tried connecting to the hub using the bottom green port?

Yes afraid so, by chance that was the port I was already using :/ So when I press reset when it asks, what should I see? Should the light just keep flashing amber, bearing in mind it's already flashing amber having been put in recovery mode?

I had this, DON'T reset it when it asks, just start it and let it go. I also found it didnt work properly in either firefox or chrome (cant remember which sorry) and I had to use the other to get it going.

You are disconnecting from the internet and have only the router, with nothing connected to it, plugged into the PCs network card?
