Its looking like the culprit, as stated in your manual as a requirement.
'For AirPrint to function, both IPP and Bonjour (mDNS) protocols must be enabled'.

      Ok you just answerd that.

Under Airprint on the config webpage is there anything else there for ipp ?

      Re: Printing from an iPad

Ok, you could try the ssl/tls option, but that will require the printer to restart after it is applied.
Im sure that by default it does not need that enabled.
      Probably the last hope

Beginning to wonder if the Sagem router is causing this somehow.
Know nothing about that router though, so someone else on here would have to help there.

      Re: Printing from an iPad

Just tried enabling ssl/tls same result

I suspected the router - hence the query to this forum - it seems that some routers do not handle Bonjour - trouble is finding out which ones!

If it is the router the next problem is trying to set up Sky BB with a non-sky router.

If no-one comes up with a slution, many thanks for your assistance & advice.

I know that this won't solve the problem but as the windows laptop prints ok can you share the printer on the laptop so that you can send any print requests from the Ipad to the laptop instead of directly to the printer, as you would have to if you didn't have a network enabled printer?

      Re: Printing from an iPad

      Me again! Still not fixed!
I phoned Sky Technical for advice on router - "was it Bonjour enabled/compatible".
The guy I spoke to did not know what Bonjour was - so this did not bode well - I cannot be the only person in UK trying to 'AirPrint' from an Ipad, thru a Sky Sagem router to an airprint enabled printer!
After much searching and asking his colleagues he basically could not say one way or tother!!!

Trying to speak to Xerox but they won't talk to me until they can confirm that the printer is covered by warranty. Apparently the 'Supplier' has to notify them directly to initiate the warranty - me filling in the on-line registration is not good enough.

      Why is life so difficult??
