      Sagem wifi connections

Hi all helpful's one for you. My WiFi is working fine for several devices, but when a 'new' device attempts to connect, I get an authentication error. When I say 'new' this is a device that was connected earlier, but may have been rebooted, out of range or lost connection for some other reason.

If I reboot the router the connection is restored. But what a pain!

We do have quite a few devices...phones, tablets, game consoles etc....but some always has a device that won't connect.

I've hunted high and low, even purchased a range extender...carries outn a factory reset.

Just to reiterate...most devices are connected, the odd one fails and they will connect if the router is rebooted.

Oh and its a sagem router....

      Re: Sagem wifi connections

You could try reserving addresses for all your devices in the Address reservation list. This may help when you want to reconnect something.

If you have the original Sagem 2504 you should consider replacing it with a more up to date one. Most tablets and phones can use Wireless N which has a far better performance than the old G class used in the Sagem.
