      I've removed the references to the failed firmware which had a later DSL firmware.

      I also have DSL Firmware Version A2pv6F038m.d24j

      I have seen a serious increase in the SNR though. I appreciate a firmware version shouldn't do this, however at this time of night im normally sitting on 5.5-5.8. It is currently 6.3-6.4 and was as high as 6.9 earlier.

      Previously, my best during the day was 6.1-6.2.

      I agree this is nothing scientific but do keep an eye daily. This increase has surprised me. Just thought i'd mention it.

      3761 here too,I've had very high latency over the last 3 days or so after my router rebooted early sunday morning,today its back down to 29ms, still only getting a wireless download speed on my iMac of 24 meg on 40 meg fibre,(synching at 39998 at router) router is 8 ft away from iMac in the same room,i,m borrowing a laptop tonight with ethernet to test it direct,sky are calling me at 8pm for results

      Its a bit high for fibre. With Fast Path you would expect single figures and on interleave, low teens. Could be you are experiencing a lot of errors causing the line to be heavily interleaved.

      i,ve just pinged 8.8.8.8 from my router ,and ping times are between 14/16 ms,other results were from speediest .net so maybe misleading
