      Wink Rev 7 Firmware ?

      Hi,

Looked at my router (F@ST2504n) this morning and it would appear I've got new firmware, 7.16a4N_UNI, most noticeable difference is that it now IPv6 capable.

Was wondering if anyone else had this ?

      Regards,
      Me.

Sure I read somewhere that Sky are going to start implementing IP6 sometime this year. Looks like this is the start of it.

      Opps! Missed that...

...In terms of IPv6 support, which BE’s current platform doesn’t support, McGowan said, “we’ve already done a lot of work on this and are currently completing network infrastructure upgrades. We also are looking at IT stack ready for this and are looking to launch in 2014“; an interesting development for Sky’s own customers too...
This could well be why Sky are pushing out the SR102 for free to everyone who does not currently have the Sagem 2504N, SR101 or SR102.

      Re: Rev 7 Firmware ?

Sadly only Sky currently release the firmware for the SR101 and SR102.

We shall both have to wait a little longer for news on this topic.
