Can i connnect wan to sky router f@st 2504n ethernet port.

basicaly im now moved to bt and can i say there home hubs a absoloutley garbage. But i had quite a few replacements. But i still have that old trusty Fast 2504n sagecom router from sky. I want to know if i can connect my openreach modem thats running infinity to the etherent port to act as a wan port so i can transmit my broadband through the sky router and not the home hub that dosnt work.

Sorry if ive not made it clear and it will be a bit technical but if anyone has knowledge on how to configure the sagecom router to recieve wan services through an ethernet port so i can use my internet.

I don't think it will work. The Sagem is set up to give out Sky's connection details so will not connect to BT Fibre. I don't think it is possible to set it up to use the BT connection details as it has never been fully hacked.

You can try it if you like, just make sure the WAN connection mode is set to auto or WANOE (Wan over ethernet)

thanks for the reply and i read somewhere that the 2504 can achieve this but the 2504n is lockdown on sky so thats a bummer but i will search about. Thanks for clearing up that wan part cause i havent a clue to go about that but i will give it a try.
