is it possible to set up sr101 as wifi repeater to boost my neighbours allowed wifi signal

Hi all, I am a complete novice with routers, the internet and settings for it. I am currently using a desktop pc with wifi inbuilt, and I am connecting to my neighbours wifi (with his permission) but the speed is ridiculously slow due to the distance between my pc and his wifi source, I have in my possession a sky sr101 router, and I want to know if it would be possible to use the router as a repeater to strengthen the signal from my neighbours wifi for my pc. I would prefer not to have to mess with his router in any way whilst trying to do this. all I have is the sr101 router and its power cable, and my wireless pc. Thanks in advance

Unless you can connect the routers using an ethernet cable, it cannot be done. If the signal is that low then even a dedicated WiFi extender would not be much good. I don't think your neighbour's ISP will be very pleased if they discover he is sharing his connection with the neighbourhood.
