    Block devices connecting to HUB

    This is a discussion on Block devices connecting to HUB within the Sky Router forums, part of the Sky Broadband help category; Hi i wondered is there a way to block certain devices connecting to my router, its a Sky Hub SR101....

      Block devices connecting to HUB

      Hi i wondered is there a way to block certain devices connecting to my router, its a Sky Hub SR101.

      Its fairly simple to block a wireless connection, by using the Wireless Access List. Go to the Wireless setting page and click the Wireless Station Access list button. Select 'Turn Access Control On' and enter the details of any wireless device you want to give access to. Any device that is connected to the router will be shown on the list. If you want to add a device in the future, untick the Control button and the device will then appear, ready for selection. When selected, re-tick the box to enable the access control.

      Blocking ethernet access is a little more difficult, pulling the ethernet plug is the easiest.
