      Re: Port light orange

An orange/yellow light usually indicates the port is operating at 10mbps instead of 100mbps. Try plugging something else into the port and see what happens. At the same time plug the PS into another port.

Rebooting the router may clear any problem.

      Re: Port light orange

      Strange.
I've only ever seen a lan port light orange on mine when it was resyncing after a reset & my sky box was still connected to that port (maintains connection whilst in standby).

As i'm sure you know, when a ps3 is in standby the light goes out & when it's on it goes green.

      Could be the cable.
Have you tried swapping it with another device or port?

      Process of elimination...

      Re: Port light orange

Thanx for the advice guys but i sorted it i changed the speed and duplex setting to 10mbs instead of 100mbs by accident so isitme was kinda right. Anyway i changed it and all is fine now, today i changed the default dns servers in my sagem f@st 2504n to my fastest ones recommended by name bench my ps3 gaming is much better as i put the same dns servers in that too. My problem now is when i did a reboot the dns servers reset back to default is there any way to make them stick btw in using custom firmware.
