      Hi there,

This is kinda my first post..

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone would help me to identify what my Sky router is, all I really know about it is that it is a D-Link router...

If you need any more info, I can supply it..

Any help would be very much appreciated!

      Thanks

      Welcome to the forum.

The D-Link router has a dull grey case, with pimples like a golf ball. The case is also the same for the Sagem 2504 and Netgear DG934G. All are WiFi g routers. On the top of the routers is the manufacturer's name. I believe this is also on the sticker underneath the router.

If you log into the router and click on the 'Maintenance' tab, you should also see the make & model details there. To log in to the router, open you browser and type in your router's IP Address (default = 192.168.0.1). The default login details are:

      Username: admin
      Password: sky

Note: Username & password are both in lowercase. Whilst the Username can't be changed, you can change the password.

The Sky D-Link router is the 2640S.

      PlusNet Fibre since Jan 2021
Previously Sky Fibre & Sky BB since 2010.
