      Connection speed problems

      Hi guys,

I've been with Sky just over a month, and consistently had speeds of around 1.8mbps. While this is far from ideal, it's acceptable. Today the broadband has been extremely slow (Pinged google.com, time 2148ms. On speedtest.net says we have a DL speed of 0.18mbps). I checked the router settings (F@ST2504n) and according to the "router status" page, the downstream is still 2500kbps.

I can't understand where the issue is coming from; it's not a wireless problem as my ethernet connection is just as bad. It's clearly not a line issue as the Router is showing normal speeds. I've tried resetting the router. Does anyone know what this may be?

      Thankyou very much in advance

      Nick

      Re: Connection speed problems

Could you post your router stats ( and just to check, you are not on the connect package are you?)
