The father in law had the old white Netgear router and over recent months the broadband speed has dropped dramatically and wireless performance dived off a cliff!

I spent some quality time with it but nothing I tried improved performance so eventually I gave Sky a call. They didn't even bother with further diagnostics and just sent a new Sagem out because he had had the Netgear for so long.

Now his broadband speed is 3 times as fast and wireless coverage much improved. Long story short, might be worth a call to Sky as there is a chance they will change it for free if you are a long time customer.
