      This is strange ....

I fancied getting a new N router so I logged in to MySky and went through the Upgrade pages to find what I wanted, it showed as 35 to buy which I expected so I added it to my basket.

Now, I didn't change anything else but my monthly payments dropped by 2.50 and the router shows as free of charge with just postage of 2.35 to pay.

As anybody else found this? Are Sky sneakily putting me on a new 12 month contract with subscriptions due to rise in September or are they being nice to a long-time customer?

I am pretty sure that I saw a banner on Sky News website saying the price freeze was until 2013 - Maybe they have made an error, or indeed you may have resigned upto a 12 month contract. See what letter you get throught the post. As they always write once you change something.

Small print on the sky site says some prices will change on 01/09/2012.

This is annoying, pretty sure the banner I saw did not link to the Irish site, but I can find no mention of it now.

I should have pointed out that I didn't complete the transaction. I've just logged in again to check my figures and to my surprise I CAN NOW GET FIBRE !!!!!

Estimated 13.5 up - that may seem slow to a lot of members but to me it's a great improvement so the installation is set for May 25th
