      Sky Router - Suddenly stopped serving IP over wireless

      My new style Sagem router has suddenly stopped serving IP over wireless.

      Wireless signal is strong and the SSID is being bradcast correctly but none of the devices that could previously connect cannot anymore.

      Was working fine this morning and there have been no changes.

      Wired connection is working fine.

      Tried rebooting router but the same each time.

      Suspect the router has died in part.

      But is there anything else I should try?


      I also have a second new style router - two replacements got sent out when my original Sagem died. But strangely, if I connect that one up, the wireless does not work, nor will it establish a connection with the internet.

      I guess that this second one isn't enabled with my account - I know they use a new style of authentication.

      Any idea what is going one?

      have you tried reboot the computer i get that sometimes and i need to reboot too

      What error are you getting?

      Try turning off the wireless security, see if you get a connection.

      It is possible a new network has gone on line which is overwhelming your router. Try changing the channel. Best way to do this is to download and install Inssider(link below) Use it to discover the channels in use and choose one as far from those in use as possible. If they are all in use, try channels 1 or 13, these suffer least from overlapping.
