Re: VPN over Sky Sagem router
By piggybacking the DGN2200 onto the Sky router, you need to leave the Sky router to control your LAN and the access to the Internet is through the Sky router.
The DGN2200 is an ADSL router.
Keeping things simplified, since a Cable router connects via its Ethernet LAN port, anything connecting via that would effectively be like have a Modem. Using the guide linked above, you set the WAN IP Address to one within the Sky router's range. Then on the Sky router, you navigate to the page that sets the DMZ Server address and put the WAN address of the cable router.
You can then disable the WiFi on the Sky router and connect everything through the Cable router.
All traffic is then passed directly to the Cable router, unedited and unfiltered.
