All the sky routers come pre-programed with suitable log in details in order to access the Sky Servers.

These details are unique to the router. They are not specific to your account, unlike most other ISPs.

Any Sky router can be used on any Sky ADSL connection.

A router becomes associated with you account by you using it on your line.

Occasionally Sky blocks a router's access as the account holder may, for example, have not paid the bills.

Scubbie thank you for replying, that is good to know as it is always good to have a backup router or a change as mostly router models are different in someways and people dont always like the newer changes.
