      Re: sagem 2504 router

Call Sky and ask them to try your line on G.DMT which often works better on long lines such as yours. At the moment you are on ADSL2+ which does not suit all long lines. When you are changed your attenuation will fall to about 63.5db.

      Re: sagem 2504 router

I have to doubt it is going to change much, especially the very low upload speed. I would call them back and do as I suggested.

      Re: sagem 2504 router

well ive certainly have had a day and a half with sky roday

rang them up this afternoon telling them that my speed had gone down since i changed over to my new router and the sky advisor and a guy from the CST department told me that the reason why its gone down is because more people have joined around my area but i told them if i switched on my old netgear router then my speed would go back up to the 2mb line that ive always had....so after hearing that crap excuse i just had enough of it all and i cut the phone call off

now ive just recieved another phone call from them and they are telling me there is a fault in these routers that causing my line speed to drop and they are sending me another new router out next week so ill have to wait and see what happens then
