Can't Get To The Router's Address

I was on 192.168.0.1 in my web browser and everything was going fine, until it randomly stopped connecting.

Now, everytime I go to "192.168.0.1" I get "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at 192.168.0.1." I've also tried with Safari and neither will connect.

      How do I fix this?

Re: Can't Get To The Router's Address

There are three possibilities that I can think of:

      1. The GUI has crashed and you will need to power cycle the router
      2. The computer isn't getting an IP address from the router
      3. The router's IP address has been changed

For #2 & #3 open the DOS box and type in the command 'ipconfig'. Check that the computer's IP address is within the range of 192.168.0.xxx and that the 'Default Gateway' is 192.168.0.1.

I you are unsure how to open the DOS box, please let us know which OS you are using.

Ooh, it must have be the first one. Reset the box and it's working fine now. Thanks a lot
