Awaiting Sky router for new activation. As it is unlimited I assume it will be the N flavour.
Has this router a USB port for attaching a HDD? If so what is the performance like?
I also have NAS with a USB port but the performance using that is poor.
      Thanks.

Whether you signed up for Connect, Home Lite or Unlimited, the Sagemcom Path F@ST 2504N (aka Sagem 2504N) is the router that is being shipped to new customers. This has been the case since mid-August 2011.

There have been a few cases where it seems that Sky were shipping out some of the older routers instead. I suspect that they had run out of stock of the Sagem 2504N.

There is no USB port on this router, or any other Sky router.

You may wish to look around for a 2nd NAS drive if this is an issue for you. Alternatively you may wish to consider using your own router.

      Thanks for the reply.
The NAS isn't the issue, the uSB performance using the NAS USB pass-thru is rubbish!
Looks like it's my own router after DLM then.
      Thanx again.

      Re: Sagen router & USB

I was thinking that an alternative NAS Drive might either host the content or allow for a faster USB performance.
