      Another XBOX Issue

Hello I have been having series issues with my Xbox live. I have my xbox connected though my pc which is wireless connected to my SKY router.

I have ensured all ports are open, that UPNP is marked as yes. I have port forwarded the correct ports, however i still end up loosing connection when playing x box live. Sometimes its fine however it occurs 6/10 times that i play a game.

My router at times is also crashing and two of the green light go on and off constantly, and the only way to resolve is by turning the router on and off again.

I do have connected directly to the test socket so its not a problem with other hardware. I have also assigned my xbox with its own IP address .

      Any Suggestions would be appreciated

      Kevin

      Re: Another XBOX Issue

      Greetings,

Try changing the wireless channel you're using on the router, especially if you're using the default one. Could be the channel is being swamped by other local wireless users on the same channel.

Try a different router if it's crashing all the time then it could well be very poorly and in need of retirement just like me.
