      Latest router questions

I'm thinking of joining sky, but I wanted to check if the latest sky router has the following features:

Port trigger, for streaming RTSP etc?

      local multicast support?

Does it have it's own local DNS server?

      Re: Latest router questions

The Sky routers are basic home routers and do not support any of the features you require. Sky users who require these and other unsupported features use their own router. Although against the T & Cs Sky have not objected to customers using their own routers, provided they do not ask for support for them.

Are you able to view websites like TVCatchup Mobile ?

It's shocking that it doesn't have any sort of port trigger features!

      Re: Latest router questions

Sky broadband is compatible with TVCatchup.

The Sky routers are all capable of Port Forwarding, which is enough for most home users.
