Question Use Netgear dg834gt as range extender with D-Link master router

Today i received my new D-Link Sky router as my original Netgear dg834gt was on its last legs (or thats what I lead the nice lady at Sky Protect to believe) Anyhow, I now want to use the netgear as a wireless signal extender to hook up my sky+hd box to get the anytime+ service.
Has anybody succeeded, or even tried to use this setup? If so could you do a 'Dummies guide' as im not too clued up on router config / setups?
Ive seen quite a few posts using sagem's and other netgears but nothing regards the D-Link
just to clear it up I want to use the new D-Link as master router and old netgear as range extender for anytime+
      Please help

      Have a look here -

If you were hoping to connect the routers wirelessly, I do not think it can be done with the equipment you have. If you cannot connect the routers by ethernet, then Homeplugs are your best bet.
