Is there a reason you have to reboot the router?

Did you create a new service / rule etc?

And then add that one, or did you use one of the preconfigured rules?

      What are the port numbers?

The ports are automatically configured through geovision 8.5 software (that is the CCTV security system) i look at the router settings they are there correct, everything works fine until the route is rebooted! Then they disappear. Never had this problem with other routers,

Does the router have the right ports allowed?

As they don't normally as standard.

Normally if they are an oddball port number you have to create the service, then add it in services etc then save. If you have done all that then I have no idea.

I don't mind testing if you give me the port number etc and then I can try rebooting my router.

Re: ports for my CCTV system Sagemcom F@ST2504n

I have just created services and I get exactly the same problem after a reboot! I just think the router is useless! As I previously said I have never had problems with previous routers, only this junk! I'll extract my username and password and use a different router whether sky like's it or not!

Re: ports for my CCTV system Sagemcom F@ST2504n

I found the same thing when I was configuring the router without actually syncing to the exchange etc. As soon as I got a live ADSL connection established though, the router then remembered all the config settings. Stupid way of being able to save them but it did at least work.
