      Sagemcom 2504N - Cannot connect to the internet

      Hi, I will try to brief in describing my issue with my Sagemcom 2504N...

      The two top lights are on solid green (the tick and the power lights).
      The Wifi light is off.
      The internet light occasionally flashes amber for a few seconds, then remains off.

      I have tried turning off at the wall, and turning off using the power button. Sometimes when it comes back on, none of the top lights are on, and the four numbered lights at the bottom are all on instead.

      No matter how long I hold the reset button in for, the test light does not flash, and nothing else happens.

      If you can advise on what I should do, please help!

      Have you another ADSL2+ router that can be connected to the telephone line, just in order to check that your broadband is live?

      Connect just the router to your test socket, using the short grey ADSL lead supplied with the router & a microfilter.

      You'll need to check the settings:

      PPPoA, VPI/VCI = 0/38, Multiplexing = VC-Mux.

      If you look at the router stats, you should see the connection speed. It won't connect without the Sky log in details, but at this point you are just looking to see if you have broadband.

      If you can post your results someone can take things from there.

      It looks like it could be a PSU problem. If you have another 12v PSU with the correct plug, try that. If it works, call Sky and tell them, they should send you a replacement.
