I have recently had a D-link router as a replacement for my Netgear router but cannot find the Port forwarding set-up within the router.
I am trying to set up an IP camera so that I can view it from the internet.
Suggestions and /or instructions would be appreciated.
      Thank you

Re: Port Forwarding on D-link router

      Hi
I have downloaded the program 'Simple Port forwarding' but the process doesn't seem quite so simple. When I get to the stage 'update router' the program goes well until I get message saying 'Add incoming filter named XXXX failed status 9003' Previous threads have suggested the actual name is the cause but I have tried various formats with/without spaces lower case/capitals but still get same problem.
If I go to router with ethernet cable and add the information manually I don't get an error message.
Using the 'Simple' program the port test fails. I have also tried to the access the camera from the internet without success.
My camera is an Edimax IC-7000PTn which I have given a static IP of 192.168.0.9 and identified Port 90.
I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks
