      Re: Sagemcom F@ST2504 N router - pics

I was worried that 144mb didn't manage to meet the WiFi n specs. Unfortunately it does, on a 20 MHz channel.

This means that in my case, my Laptop would only connect at half that speed. I connect at 150mb on the 40 MHz channel with my Netgear. I would hazard a guess that many other people are going to find similar problems too.

@realj42: Just to clarify, the reported speed from inSSIDer was not your connection speed, but the maximum the router can do.

The Ethernet WAN is good for those who like the router.

If anyone has a Gbit interface and one of these routers, it would be nice to have confirmation one way of the other whether the router has 1Gbit LAN interface. This would help a lot of people and confirm Sky's interest in FTTP.

@Tal71: The 2304n displays both MER & PPPoA when it isn't connected in the same way. I would assume that Sky are not going to allow us to choose between the two.

Try calling at 10am to find out.

I wouldn't suggest that now would be a good time to call.

It is released today to existing customers as far as I know.

      35
One year warranty - if it fails, then it'll be replaced foc.
If you have another router that fails, it will not be replaced with the N router - it has to be purchased separately.

Just called Sky now, they believe the date has moved, they are unsure what is happening.

I am awaiting a call back.

      Re: Sagemcom F@ST2504 N router - pics

Sky have just called me back - it appears they are delayed, again, and suggested I called back towards the end of the week.

He did stress that even then they may not be released but they may have a better idea.
