Yes that is what I am connecting with and it reports 100Mbs connection. Mind you I have never used this computer in a 1 Gbs network so I cant guarantee this would work anyway ...

Yes by plugging my existing router into the blue port I am seeing a connection from my computer, via the sagemcom to the internet. The F@ST2504N is surely just acting as a switch now?

Nice tool - I am seeing a max WiFi speed of 144Mbs, regardless of distance from the router.

Doesn't this mean it is N Lite? A big disappointment if it is.

Only the ports with a yellow highlight can be used for ethernet - the other two are for.....?
I would think they can all be used for ethernet, but I think the green one may be prioritised for Anytime+.

      Hiya all,

We signed up for Sky BB on August 8th and received the 2504N router on the 10th. They must have released this early for new customers. The line is activated on the 16th so i'll let you know how the router performs

      cheers

If you use inSSIDer (google it). It should tell you the max broadcast rate of the router.

If anyone would like a particular screenshot let me know.

      Summary status page
      Detailed status page
Wireless setup Note default wireless mode is "n&g&b".
      Initial advanced setup menu
Manual add a WPS client screen
      Initial Security menu

      Other notes
      - the ethernet ports are 100Mbs only
      - the wireless is confirmed as wireless N, with at least a much range as my current Netgear DGN2000 (which I understand means this router is a lot better than previous Sagemcom efforts)

Any further questions then just ask
I noticed from the 'DETAILED STATUS' picture that Network type shows MER/PPPoa. Do you have the option to use which connection type you want, i.e. MER or PPPoa?

      Damn. That's rather lame

Still, at least it's got N. I'm still up for upgrading.
