Constant line disconnections, had enough :(

I've got a D-Link Sky Router , one that looks like a mini Sky box

I get constant, say 10 line disconnections every hour just now,
where the 4th light (ADSL line status) on the router will go out, flash yellow then turn green,
then again go out, flash yellow........

this has been going on for 6 months now
Tried on wireless and fixed line, with same issue
I've only got the one telephone line, no other extensions connected and only one microfilter, which i've changed along with all the cables and still the same.

I've tried another router with no luck, this is not the service i was expecting from Sky and had enough,

      Stats below:

      Router StatisticsSystem Up Time: 02:11:58

Port Status TxPkts RxPkts Collisions Tx B/s Rx B/s Up Time
      WAN MER 1554 41475 0 4317 157846 00:04:04

Connection Speed 4607 kbps 861 kbps
      Line Attenuation 50.0db 30.3db
      Noise Margin 7.9db 8.5db

any ideas or where do I go from here?

Any noise or issues on your landline?
Do you have a test socket?

It doesn't matter, they still have to fix this problem. Can you confirm if you get intermittent noise with only a handset into your master socket, with no other equipment connected at all to any sockets?

If so, call your line rental provider. Irrelevant whether the line is testing fine, provided it's not a whistling noise, it needs logged to Openreach.

Yep, only with 1 phone connected to the only and master socket. Sky is my rental provider.....

Saying the line is fine is not good enough, they should be doing something to fix your connection. They should at least be offering to replace your router. When that fails as it probably will, they should then send out a broadband engineer to trouble-shoot your line, right back to the exchange. It is possible the exchange equipment is causing the problem.

I would advise you to call them and keep calling until you get fixed. You are on Sky talk, so the calls are free.
