I am wondering if the tweaks made to the latest firmware were to compensate for some poor quality electronics and the ones in yours are a little worse.

It might be worth contacting Sky and asking for a replacement router.

Hmmmm......would they ask for this one to be returned?

By the way, did you spot the 'Pun Of The Week' competition?

Sky used to send out a returns envelope & label for this purpose. Unfortunately now they seem to have stopped doing this.

Sorry, you lost me a little on that post

If you like good film dramas, I would certainly recommend that you see The Green Mile. You might understand the references to the Natural Sponge & Salt Water.

I can't recall which CSI episode the natural sponge featured in, but you would gather from the film what that episode might be about.

Oops....that's my sense of humour at work back there with the 'competition'. Back-fired a bit, I see, but was trying to overload you and Tom (or any other readers) with a stream of puns that could link to electrocution, as I gathered from a quick google that The Green Mile featured the use of an electric-chair.

I just thought that your's and Tom's mention of a salt-water sponge (and its obviously referred to application in the art of electrocution) could be used as a basis for me to get a bit carried away with the dark humour.

p.s How many references can you spot? Actually, I think I probably should have called the competition 'Spot The Pun', rather than 'Pun Of The Week'.

There were a good few there. I'm sure some young spark could provide you with the short answer. My capacity at this time of the day is getting low, but I was sure it was near 50Hz.

      That's better!

Now, come on readers - enter the 'Spot The Pun' competition - the lucky winner who identifies the total number of puns will receive a fortnight's free subscription to the Sky User Foum's DLM threads section.
