      Request DLM?

      Hi
I've had my BT circuit rewired and now have a new style ADSL faceplate on the master socket.

I now have the modem directly connected to the master for the first time. Ive done the noise test and everything is quiet.

Despite this I only get 850 kbps using speedtest.net. My stats are below. Is it worth requesting Sky run the DLM as my wiring is now much better?

      Many thanks, Bob

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream[/B]
Connection Speed 1279 kbps 379 kbps
Line Attenuation 69.5 db 44.9 db
Noise Margin 6.3 db 12.0 db

You will probably find that running DLM on your line will reduce your speed further. Apart from having the line switched to G.DMT there is not much that can be done here.
