Use the 834 recovery utility to flash the firmware.

Alternatively you can flash the official Netgear firmware. If interested in flashing the original firmware read this post.

That utility works on windows 7 too.
Just make sure you run it as administrator and in xp service pack 3 compatibility mode.

Both of these options can be found under properties. (right click on the utility)

      Re: DG934G Downgrade

Most routers don't let you downgrade via the web configuration but you are welcome to try. Keep in mind though that if you flash the older Sky firmware your router will update it again.

      Re: DG934G Downgrade

Try the Update/downgrade through the routers web interface. If it does not work, try upgrading it. The latest firmware available on the Netgear site is V 2.03.21. Available here- GPL Open Source Code for Programmers As this is Sky firmware there is no need to use the Recovery Utility.

This is the full source code, including the upgrade image which must be unzipped from the file. Maybe someone knows where the image is available on its own. For some reason Sky have not released this update, which includes WPA2 and will downgrade it shortly after you connect to the internet with it. At least that was my experience with one I updated. Even if it does it may clear the bug which is causing your problem.
